2009 Finca Flichman Reserva Malbec

This Argentine Malbec has some wonderful aromas! We smelled buttered popcorn and dried figs--awesome! We couldn't help diving in right away. We tasted plums and strawberries mainly with a little toasted oak. The mouth feel is great--full body, subtle tannins, smooth and lengthy finish. This would be a definite crowd pleaser! For about $13, you can't go wrong. This is one of the better malbecs in this price range. Go Mendoza!
