NV Chatham Hill Vineyard Sweet Carolina Blueberry

Brownish brick red in color, this wine looked dull in the glass. Huge aromas of raspberry jam were present. We tasted blueberries and raspberry jam--pretty one dimensional. The mouth feel is nice, with good acidity and sugar balance. There is a poor balance of alcohol here, especially for 11.5% ABV. On the other hand, it is a very tasty wine, especially for late harvest wine lovers. It would work well with pies or as a dessert wine. Not a bad dessert wine, though, for $11!
