2009 Hunt Country Vineyards Cayuga White

Cayuga White is a hybrid grape specific to the Finger Lakes region of New York. This Cayuga by Hunt Country Vineyards is fruit forward with super juicy pineapple and granny smith apple, accompanied by some very nice slate-like mineral taste and even some grassy flavors! It's not very sweet, more like off-dry. The mouthfeel is super smooth, almost creamy. Many "creamy" wines tend to be flat, but this has a wonderful balance of acidity!

It isn't super complex, but for $10 you get a very delicious, well-balanced white wine! Many $20 don't drink like this! We thought this would go very well with a nice cheese and cracker spread! We'd also recommend pairing with Sushi! Cheers!
