2009 2 Copas Red

This is a blend of 80% tempranillo and 20% malbec from Mendoza, Argentina. Very aromatic on the nose, with floral and spices. Taking into account this wine's price-point ($7), there are some pretty interesting flavors, dominated by green peppers, leather, fresh herbs, blueberries, and black pepper.

The 2 Copas Red is a pretty bold medium to full bodied red. While there aren't very complex flavors to this wine, there's great balance for its price! There aren't many $7 (or even $10) wines that drink like this. Cheers!
