2008 CK Mondavi "Field Blend"

After having good luck with CK mondavi cab sauv as a great party wine, I can't say the same for this one. It's a blend of Cabernet, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Syrah, lacking balance in every which way. Solid, chewy tannins, but was full of heat, youth (not the good kind), and shortness. Blah! CK mondavi, you're 1 for 3.
