2008 Sterling Meritage

Definitely a decent selection for $13. Nose: earthy, oak, a little heat; Taste: after opening up, heat went away, and so did Oak monster. Resulted in some nice tannins, delicate oak, currants, spices, and great balance with a wonderfully long finish.
